Pentawards 2010 announces the composition of its international jury.
The major world competition exclusively devoted to packaging design, Pentawards 2010, will be judged by an international jury (Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific) composed of eminent marketing specialists and designers.

- The jury will be chaired by Gerard Caron, founder of Carre Noir (France) and publisher of the site www.admirabledesign.com
- The jury will give out 5 types of awards: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Pentawards.
- In order to judge comparable creations, the presented works will be grouped in 5 major categories and more than 40 sub-categories.
- The Pentawards ceremony will be presented on 4 October 2010 in the European Pavilion of the Expo Shanghai 2010.
CALL FOR ENTRIES: Registration will be open online from the 5 April to 21 May 2010 for all packaging, or line of packaging, created or placed on the market since 1 January 2009, anywhere in the world.

FULL REGISTRATION - 17 April to 14 May 2010 - €195
LAST CHANCE - from 15 May to 21 May 2010 - €225

Pentawards on show in Shanghai
LUXURY PENTAWARDS 2009 AT LUXEPACK SHANGHAI!
To prove how important creativity is for luxury, Luxepack has joined forces with Pentawards for the third time and, after Monaco last October, the Pentawards 2009 will be presented in Shanghai.
LUXEPACK, the first trade fair dedicated exclusively to the packaging of luxury products in China.
The third edition of LuxePack Shanghai will be held on 30 and 31 March 2010 at the Convention Centre which already promises to be teeming with exhibitors, lecturers and meetings full of interest. This inaugural competition of international packaging design will feature all the winning products, reflecting trends in worldwide creation, that Jean Jacques and Brigitte Evrard, the founders of Pentawards, will explain in detail on location.

From 1 February to 27 March 2010 the winning packaging designs of Pentawards 2009, the worldwide competition that each year crowns the best packaging designs of the world, will be on show in Paris.
A unique opportunity to see these creative and stunning designs from the 4 corners of the world.
On Tuesday, 2 February at 6:00 PM, Gérard Caron, publisher of the site www.admirabledesign.com and chairman of the Pentawards jury will give a presentation on the development of brands and consumers through the trends in international packaging.
